Welders- Day & Night shift

Empire technicians are the lifeline to our clients - trained professionals who work on machinery and equipment produced by Caterpillar, one of the leading large-scale mobile machinery manufacturers in the world.

We are seeking seasoned shop and field technicians/mechanics with experience in similar heavy equipment dealerships to join our third-generation, family-owned organization. We have 100+ job openings throughout our 30+ locations in Arizona, Nevada, and parts of Eastern California.
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
Own and maintain required personal tools.
At least five years heavy equipment welding experience, preferably in a dealership environment.

34.44 to $63.08 Per Hour
Repair and/or rebuild structurally failed or worn parts requiring welding process reconstruction. Work in adverse weather and other adverse shop and field situations presented by client needs. Accept all out-of-town assignments requiring overnight stays. Communicate orally and in writing information, instructions, and explanations to associates, clients, and management regarding conditions, problems, and recommendations
Fabricate and/or repair metal parts.
Operate welding equipment.
Maintain company equipment - keep in good clean orderly condition.
Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Own and maintain required personal tools.
Provide on-the-job training to technicians and helpers as assigned.
Work overtime as needed.
Travel to remote locations as needed.
Perform complex and innovative welding procedures.
Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming adhere to company policy.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Current AWS D1.Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
