We are on the lookout for a Medical Laboratory Technician whose eagerness and accuracy come together harmoniously. In this full-time, first-shift position at a lively community hospital nestled in an inviting area brimming with excitement, your contributions will be vital in delivering transformative diagnostic insights. Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analysesincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols.
Review test results for correctness, identify and troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure laboratory instruments undergo necessary maintenance and calibration.
Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or interns, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
Ensure a clean, safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
Meticulous organizational skills and keen attention to detail, particularly in quality control and documentation.
