In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and contribute to the growth of a company that values great service and lasting customer relationships. Act as Human Resources Generalist for assigned Business units. Support units through growing and developing business partnerships, employee relations, recruiting, staffing & retention, training, organizational design & development, and compensation & benefits. Provide a positive environment and reduce legal risk to the organization.
Communicate and assure compliance with compensation, benefits, and leave policy and programs.
administer performance evaluation process for exempt and non-exempt.
Resolve performance issues for staff (through manager level) through separation; Ensure consistency and fairness in policy and procedure; Facilitate various training as needed in the areas of management & overall associate development, diversity, harassment, new hire orientations, and performance management.
participate in developing and conducting reorganizations to maximize the effective use of resources and minimize adverse impact and risk.
Assist in planning and implementing of staff development programs such as mentoring, employee recognition and career development.
Bachelor's degree in related field; equivalent work experience.

• PHR in Human Resources a plus
• Prefer prior union experience
• 3-5 years generalist human resources or other related business experience, including behavioral interviewing, employment, training, employee relations, compensation, diversity, management/organizational development, risk management and loss control.
• proven team player, excellent customer service skills.
• HR recruiting experience to include positions at management level.
• HR generalist experience with an emphasis on training, management coaching, employee relations, conflict resolution, and management/organizational development preferred.
• Computer proficiency on Outlook, Word, Excel and any HRIS

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.
