Weekend Food Runner

At The Broken Yolk Cafe, we’re all about delivering great food, friendly service, and an energetic dining experience. We are looking for a Food Runner who can help keep service smooth, fast, and accurate while supporting both the front and back of house teams.

Position Summary

The Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring guests receive their meals quickly, correctly, and with care. This position supports servers and kitchen staff by delivering food to tables, communicating clearly, and helping maintain a clean and organized dining environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner

Ensure plates are properly prepared and match ticket details before leaving the kitchen

Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate efficient service

Provide guests with a positive and professional experience when delivering food

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in service stations and dining areas

Run sauces, condiments, utensils, and other needed items to the tables

Help pre-bus and clear tables as needed to support service flow

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies

Assist with side work and opening or closing duties as assigned

Support the team during busy shifts and help wherever needed.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to carry trays and lift to 25 pounds

Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
