JOB SUMMARY Under the guidance of the HR Manager, this position provides HR operational support for multishift manufacturing group of approximately 900 non-union employees.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES Expected to assist in the implementation of Howmet Aerospace’s value and policy statement and its accompanying principles;
Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations;
Wear all required personal protective equipment;
Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner;
Recruiting/Staffing - Full cycle recruiting for Salaried & hourly positions.
Assist with new employee orientation for all Dover, NJ hires;
Assist with workforce reductions, administering layoffs in accordance with policy;
Facilitate Hourly/NES Employee Performance management cycles;
Employee Relations - Assist with workplace investigations to resolve employee relations issues
Process terminations, New Hires and UI Claims
Approach on regular basis all direct 0-90 days seniority employees with standard questions to gather key feedback data for correct new hire assimilation in the organization.
confidential when required; Develop a tracking tool to capture all variety of help chain connections from new employees’ interactions.
Present summarized reports & recommendations to Plant leadership on regular basis for all new hires follow up.
Internal - Develop internal apprentice program focused on (Machinists, Mechanics/Electricians, Automation Techs and Engineering Techs)

Excellent computer skills - MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
PHR, SPHR & MBA are a plus;
Human Resources Generalist experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Experience working with Excel, Oracle HRIS
