R025408If you are a current YAI employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account.**Program*** Pleasantville IRA**Location*** Pleasantville - Brentwood Drive**Schedule*** Full-time**Key responsibilities:*** Ensuring the appropriate, therapeutically documented level of supervision in the residence, day program or community to ensure and protect the health and/or safety of the people we support.* Providing program/floor coverage, when necessary.* Attending and actively participating in the planning meeting for the people we support.* interviewing and selecting appropriate staff based on program needs* Maintaining direct relationship with staff* Building staff morale* Fostering professional development through regular supervision, training, and evaluations.* Utilizing participatory management* Fostering the Open-Door Policy* Maintaining oversight and compliance of systems specific to role and responsibilities* Fostering communication and maintaining professional between relevant supports including those within the program, within the agency, and supports outside the agency* Overseeing all financial systems, maintaining records for the people we support and program expenditures.* This includes but is not limited to medical records, treatment records, progress reports, data collection, behavior reports, incident reports, billing records, and all written communication systems.* Reporting and monitoring incidents, as well as assist with the investigative process.* Required to perform your responsibilities as they currently exist or may change in meeting the needs of the department, under the supervision of your supervisor/manager.**Education and Experience:*** BA/BS strongly preferred* Prior supervisory experience required* Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred* Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred**Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills* Well-developed writing skills* Takes initiative* Highly flexible personality type* Valid Driver's License preferred depending on location* Flexibility to respond to calls and programmatic needs beyond regular work hours* Proficient in Microsoft Office* Ability to learn/use Workforce Management software to effectively carry out essential business processes**Compensation**:$66,300.00 (Annual Salary)
