HireEZ to launch generative AI functionality for recruiters

HireEZ to launch generative AI functionality for recruiters

Recruitment platform HireEZ is set to launch a new generative AI functionality to help recruiters compose and send messages to candidates more efficiently. Using the Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 (GPT-3) language model and machine learning data, the update will allow recruiters to automatically compose individual messages for each candidate, instead of having to create many similar emails daily. The technology will use proprietary machine learning data to produce language tailored specifically for recruitment, which aims to improve recruiters’ ability to engage with applicants and personalize candidate outreach at scale. The new release will first be available to a limited number of customers before being gradually rolled out to others on the waiting list, and eventually to the public.

Steven Jiang, CEO at HireEZ, said that generative AI is a “massive opportunity to improve how businesses engage and communicate with talent”. Among the company’s goals is to ensure that the solution’s technology works efficiently and ethically for both companies and job candidates. Jiang further added that the company aims to create a future where AI can help one recruiter easily do the job of ten, alleviating the burden on recruiters who feel they are doing the work of multiple people.

HireEZ has been focusing on AI since 2017 when it launched what it claimed to be the world’s first AI candidate sourcing technology. The company is committed to the responsible development of technology and follows a formal set of principles for building AI systems. In 2020, following a $26 million funding round, HireEZ rebranded from HireTual and launched two new services: EZ Rediscovery, which helps employers update information in the ATS, and EZ Insights, which assists recruitment leaders in developing strategic workforce plans by tapping into industry and competitor-specific benchmarking data.

The use of generative AI in recruitment is not new. Many companies have been using AI-powered chatbots to engage with candidates and improve their experience. However, the integration of GPT-3, one of the most advanced language models available today, with machine learning data specific to recruitment, has the potential to create a more personalized and effective recruitment process. HireEZ’s new generative AI functionality could be a game-changer for recruiters, helping them save time and improve candidate engagement.
