Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 4 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• 6 months of Epic experience is required within the last 5 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must be proficient in Epic and able to hit the ground running. Telemetry experience required.

Required Credentials: Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia during orientation required.

Unit Details: Uses Pyxis. No procedures are performed on the unit. Cares for elective joint replacement and elective bariatric surgical patients.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per each 6-week schedule period. For night shift, weekends are Friday night and Saturday night.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles. Float to other med/surg or med/surg/tele units as needed. Must have orientation to that unit prior to floating.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
