Shift: Day shift, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (Monday – Friday)

Hours per week: 40 hours

License/Certifications: Minnesota license, BLS, ACLS, Board Certification (PA or NP)

Experience: Prior hematology/oncology experience required

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care for diverse patient populations
• Support hematology/oncology departments with patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and support staff
• Support patients through education, symptom management, and treatment coordination
• Manage benign and malignant hematology conditions using current best practices
• Assist in building a comprehensive bone marrow program, gaining experience in related procedures and patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

What You Need

• Minnesota license to practice as NP or PA
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior experience with hematology patients, including benign and malignant conditions
• Strong focus on hematology care and patient support
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with bone marrow procedures or a willingness to learn
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR system

About the Assignment This position is based at a leading hospital in Minneapolis, MN, with a focus on hematology and oncology inpatient services. The hematology/oncology team is expanding as they develop their bone marrow program. You will support a high-volume inpatient service with a dedicated team of APPs, providing essential care to a wide range of patients, and working in a well-resourced facility with supportive colleagues.
