Work Environment\n

As a remote-based Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you will have the flexibility to manage your work schedule while ensuring consistent support for our patients. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts required on a rotating basis. You will be equipped with the latest telehealth technology, facilitating seamless communication and therapy sessions with patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized tools and structured interviews.

• Collaboratively design personalized treatment plans with clients that encompass their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide high-quality, effective interventions.

• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, facilitating informed decision-making regarding treatment options and self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring alignment with best practices and evolving client needs.

• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and medical professionals to create an integrated approach to client care, discussing medication management and treatment synergy.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging our practice's electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in team meetings, consultations, and training opportunities to expand clinical skills and stay informed about current trends and research in mental health.

• Advocate for patients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders, helping to reduce stigma and encourage treatment acceptance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Your interventions will support clients from diverse backgrounds and demographics, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet their unique circumstances and cultural contexts. This role requires sensitivity, compassion, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Active and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is required.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred, equipping you for the varied clinical challenges you will encounter.

• Solid expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, pertaining to mood disorders.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists on comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with advanced certifications in specific therapy types related to mood disorders or training in trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting, managing a diverse caseload, will be beneficial to success in this role.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, along with additional performance-based bonuses and a sign-on bonus upon joining our team.
