Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our outpatient office in North Las Vegas, which features state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic equipment. Our team operates from Monday to Friday, with regular hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. You will be part of a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere, where collaboration among colleagues is encouraged to foster the best patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate their physical condition and develop effective treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic needs.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, monitor patient progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment protocols based on individual responses.

• Oversee and guide the work of physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians in delivering patient care, ensuring compliance with best practice standards.

• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery outcomes.

• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress, assessment findings, and any changes in patient condition in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on complex patient cases and contribute insights on patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic ranges widely, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes with sports-related injuries, and older adults needing rehabilitation for conditions like arthritis or joint replacement. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your expertise will be crucial in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals across diverse age groups and diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada is mandatory.

• American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification must be current at the time of hire.

• Proficient in operating physical therapy equipment and performing basic functional assessments accurately.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings, with a track record of developing and implementing successful treatment plans.

• Experience with a range of therapy modalities and manual therapy techniques is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
