Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center, where the atmosphere is both professional and supportive. As a floater physical therapist, you will work across multiple orthopedic outpatient clinics throughout Nevada, adapting quickly to new environments and team dynamics. This versatile role will expose you to different treatment modalities, EMR systems, and varied patient interactions, allowing for a rich and rewarding professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, customized patient care at various clinic locations, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
• Effectively adapt to different electronic medical record (EMR) systems, clinic workflows, and interdisciplinary team structures.
• Fill in for staff physical therapists during periods of absence or increased patient volume, ensuring continuity of care.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with physicians, clinic directors, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in system-wide meetings, providing insights and collaboration on best practices and patient care strategies.
• Stay current with continuing education to enhance your professional development and ensure evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on a diverse clientele, primarily dealing with orthopedic problems ranging from sports injuries to post-operative recovery. You will work with patients of all ages, providing care that emphasizes individualized treatment plans, restoring mobility, and improving overall function.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or eligible to obtain licensure to practice in Nevada.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning abilities, with strong adaptability and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness and ability to commute between clinic sites efficiently.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist, with a focus on orthopedic or sports therapy.
• Active board certification (OCS) or a strong interest in pursuing specialty certifications.
• Experience working with multiple EMR systems and an understanding of different clinic workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
