Work Environment

The rehabilitation facility is designed to provide a comfortable and motivating environment for both patients and staff. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation nurses, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to each patient's care. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. With a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, the clinic's layout and design support a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patient mobility, strength, and physical function, utilizing assessments tailored to orthopedic needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals, ensuring timely reviews to track progress.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery.
• Thoroughly document patient evaluations, treatment interventions, and progress updates in Raintree, adhering to clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home care practices, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatment and make necessary adjustments to maximize recovery and enhance functional outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The clinic's patient population comprises adults of varying ages who require tailored rehabilitation strategies aimed at restoring mobility and promoting independence. You will leverage evidence-based practices to help each patient achieve their unique recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Nevada, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care and a patient-centered approach is essential.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred. However, new graduates are encouraged to apply as we offer mentorship and training opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits
