Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our clinic, where you will engage with patients in person, providing hands-on therapy in a welcoming atmosphere. Our clinic boasts modern equipment and resources, facilitating a comprehensive approach to orthopedic care. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Providing tailored treatment plans that cater to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintaining a manageable patient load, ensuring that each individual receives focused care and attention.
• Utilizing your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to apply evidence-based practices and therapies effectively.
• Implementing cost-effective treatment strategies to improve motion and mobility while advocating for non-surgical options.
• Developing and executing comprehensive care plans that integrate diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Creating customized fitness and wellness programs to enhance strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination.
• Encouraging and motivating patients throughout their therapeutic journey to improve rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Continuously evaluating patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Keeping precise documentation of treatment activities and patient progress using EMR systems such as Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes post-operative patients, individuals recovering from sports-related injuries, and those dealing with chronic pain conditions. Your role will significantly influence their ability to regain independence, mobility, and overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.
• A clear, unimpeachable professional record with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement successful, individualized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy techniques and practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is a plus.
• Strong background in utilizing innovative therapeutic modalities and approaches.
• Experience in community outreach or educational initiatives related to health and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
