Work Environment

This position is based in our modern outpatient orthopedic clinic, where you will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while providing ample opportunities to connect with patients and contribute to their rehabilitation pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to assess their mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Design individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on restoring mobility and reducing pain.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy techniques, corrective exercises, and modalities, to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure continual improvement and adaptation to changing needs.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, self-management strategies, and prevention of future injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress meticulously in compliance with regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in the field.
• Current licensure in Physical Therapy to practice in the state of Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A strong foundation in physical therapy principles, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient orthopedic care.
• Experience using advanced treatment techniques and tools, including therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.

Compensation and Benefits
