Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures with a focus on oncology surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in a rotating schedule with potential for night shifts and adjust to fluctuating case schedules.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care including necessary documentation using Epic charting system.
• Take weeknight call responsibilities 1-2 nights per week and weekend call approximately every 4-5 weeks.
• Float within service lines as required to meet the dynamic needs of the facility.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or pending Nebraska RN State License.
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience, with experience in trauma levels I and II preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Must have experience with a range of procedures including Whipple, Esophagectomy, and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
• Oncology surgery experience alongside general surgery experience is essential.
• 100% nicotine-free; adherence to facility-specific regulations is mandatory.
