Work Environment This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still making a significant impact in the lives of clients. Our dedicated telehealth environment utilizes advanced technology to facilitate therapy sessions, enabling therapists to connect with patients in the comfort of their homes. While your primary hours will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychiatric and physical health needs of patients, accounting for the nuances of each individual’s medical history. Design and implement integrated treatment plans that recognize and address both mental health disorders and related medical conditions, using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions while employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the specific needs and preferences of your clients. Collaborate actively with medical providers to ensure coordinated care and to improve patient treatment outcomes through holistic understanding and management of their health conditions. Provide crisis intervention and support for clients facing mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization. Educate patients about the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them with strategies to better manage their conditions. Maintain rigorous documentation practices that comply with ethical and legal standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and accurate record-keeping. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and collaborative care planning to enhance treatment delivery and outcomes. Stay informed on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in integrated care and mental health treatments. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients range from individuals dealing with co-occurring medical and psychological conditions to those seeking support for chronic mental health issues. This diverse population includes patients with chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use problems, among others. Your role will focus on empowering these individuals through targeted therapeutic interventions that acknowledge their unique challenges and promote overall wellness. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid licensure in the state of California as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Proficient understanding and ability to address the mental health needs of patients with co-occurring medical conditions. Experience in delivering integrated care and collaborating effectively with medical professionals in a clinical setting. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Capability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure the confidentiality of patient information. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technologies. A collaborative mindset and readiness to work within an interdisciplinary team. Preferred Experience Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling. History of working in an integrated care setting, particularly in outpatient services. Demonstrated ability to utilize evidence-based practices and remain updated with current therapeutic methodologies. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
