Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Provide individual and couples therapy employing varied therapeutic techniques designed for personal growth and emotional healing.
• Facilitate workshops and group therapy sessions aimed at empowering clients and enhancing communication skills among couples and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for case management and to ensure clients receive holistic care, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in alignment with ethical guidelines and regulations to track clients’ progress and treatment efficacy.
• Stay informed on current best practices and innovative treatment trends by engaging in ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will serve a varied clientele, ranging from adults navigating life transitions to children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. You’ll engage with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more, tailoring your approach based on individual needs.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated exceptional abilities in communication and interpersonal skills, establishing secure and trusting relationships with clients.
• Exhibiting empathy, a nonjudgmental perspective, and a genuine commitment to understanding and supporting clients' unique experiences.
• Strong organizational skills combined with effective time management capabilities to balance clinical workload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in using teletherapy platforms and conducting therapy sessions virtually.
• Background in providing therapeutic services to diverse communities.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
