Our outpatient office will serve as your main reference point, although all services are delivered virtually, optimizing accessibility for our clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments to understand client histories, needs, and therapeutic goals. Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that promote healing and relationship building. Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and making adjustments as necessary to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. Collaborate actively within a multidisciplinary team to refine the overall treatment strategy for clients, sharing insights and strategies for integrated care. Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that detail specific therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs and therapeutic priorities. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary clients served by this role include individuals and families facing the dual challenges of substance abuse and mental health disorders. We provide care that addresses not only the individual’s mental health but also the relational dynamics that can exacerbate these issues. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field is required. At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within an outpatient setting, demonstrating profound clinical skills. A current and active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with no suspensions or probation. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the creation of a calming and supportive therapeutic environment. Preferred Experience Some experience or extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly preferred, enhancing your capability to deliver holistic care. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and therapeutic frameworks that apply specifically to substance abuse and family therapy. Compensation and Benefits Calm Mental Health Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and expertise.
