Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' psychological needs, utilizing tools that may include standardized tests and interviews to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one therapy, employing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based strategies to help clients navigate issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborate closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring and adjusting treatment plans based on their progress and feedback.

• Implement remote therapy sessions effectively for clients preferring virtual care, ensuring adherence to privacy and ethical standards.

• Maintain diligent documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans, adhering to state regulations and ensuring the highest level of client confidentiality.

• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and trainings to keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults from diverse backgrounds, addressing a range of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, stress management, relationship issues, life transitions, and chronic mental health disorders. Our clients often seek help for overcoming challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and self-esteem issues. The role requires a genuine passion for helping individuals regain control of their lives and improve their mental resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is essential for this position.

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in fields related to Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
