Transform your passion for student development into meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher serving an elementary school community. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to deliver quality education and individualized instruction in an onsite classroom environment. The assignment runs through June 10, 2027, with a standard Monday–Friday workweek from 8:30AM–4PM (35 hours weekly).

You’ll join a dynamic, supportive academic setting focused on equity and progress for diverse learners. The school welcomes educators with strong behavioral and classroom management skills who can adapt lessons to meet various learning needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification or licensure applicable to special education caseloads
• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency permit eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience working in a school, particularly in urban environments
• Proficiency in creating standards-aligned lesson plans driven by formative assessment and differentiation
• Mastery of classroom instructional techniques and effective use of resources
• Ability to fulfill all Pennsylvania clearance requirements before start
• Reliable transportation for daily onsite presence
• Comfortable working the full scheduled hours (no schedule adjustments possible)
• Proven strength in managing classroom behavior and supporting diverse student populations
