Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher in vibrant elementary classrooms (K-2). Two full-time positions are available, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2027. You'll be at the heart of dynamic, onsite instruction, helping shape the future for students in an urban school environment.

In this role, you'll put your expertise to work, creating engaging lesson plans that align with the latest state and district standards. You'll leverage formative assessments and differentiation strategies to ensure every student has the resources and guidance they need to succeed. Collaboration, adaptability, and classroom leadership will be key to thriving in this position.

Qualifications:

• Active certification/licensure to support relevant caseloads
• Bachelor’s degree required to secure an emergency teaching permit, if necessary
• Proven experience in school settings
• Mastery of special education content, instructional methods, and resource materials
• Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
• Must be able to reliably commute and work onsite, 8:30AM–4PM (schedule cannot be altered)
• Comfortable working in urban school environments and with district protocols
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a similar setting
• Successful completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances
