Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, specifically Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients looking to alleviate stress and enhance their mental well-being.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' individual stressors, challenges, and goals, tailoring therapeutic interventions to suit their unique circumstances.

• Guide clients in mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness, managing stress, and achieving emotional balance.

• Organize and facilitate interactive group workshops, classes on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building techniques for individuals and communities.

• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individual therapy sessions to clarify and address specific mental health concerns, promoting holistic growth and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in implementing mindfulness techniques within therapeutic contexts to benefit clients.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to fostering a calming therapeutic space.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
