Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, utilizing clinical interviews, standardized assessments, and other diagnostic tools.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and supportive counseling.

• Provide individual therapy sessions that prioritize client needs and goals while employing therapeutic strategies that enhance coping skills and resilience.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster a supportive community and allow clients to share experiences and learn from one another.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring timely support and safety planning.

• Maintain meticulous client records, progress notes, and treatment documents in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health challenges, treatment options, and relevant community resources, advocating for their needs as appropriate.

• Commit to continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and staying updated on best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will encompass a diverse range of individuals dealing with various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational issues. You will work sensitively with clients from different cultural backgrounds, understanding the importance of individualized care and cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license to practice as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. A Master's degree or Doctorate is preferred.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities with an understanding of therapeutic frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
