This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Technicians work independently in the field, ensuring kitchen equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support business continuity. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, combi-ovens, mixers, dishwashers, hot cases, etc.) Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations Test components and verify proper operation after repairs Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service Follow all safety regulations and company policies Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities Participate in on-call rotation as assigned Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, combi-ovens, mixers, dishwashers, hot cases, etc.) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required Strong gas and/or electric troubleshooting experience Solid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters Own industry standard hand tools Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed Compensation Transparency The advertised pay range for this position is $35-$42. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced expertise in commercial hot-side equipment may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
