Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical abilities, understand their health challenges, and identify appropriate interventions.
• Design personalized treatment plans that detail short-term and long-term therapeutic goals based on each patient's specific needs and conditions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Implement evidence-based rehabilitation strategies and adjust plans as necessary to align with patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with facility protocols.
• Engage in proactive communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care and address any concerns.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with industry standards and enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. This role requires a firm understanding of various orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your expertise will help guide patients towards improved function, mobility, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred but not required.
• Must possess a current and valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in physical therapy, particularly in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong analytical and clinical reasoning skills to assess patient needs and determine appropriate treatment interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills for effectively engaging with patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Laurier Therapeutic Solutions offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
