Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians, identifying their unique needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions and modalities tailored for diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, and sports medicine patients.
• Deliver high-quality patient care through various evidence-based techniques in accordance with the physician's plan of care, aiming to enhance patient functionality and mobility.
• Engage in collaborative team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment adjustments, and optimal care strategies, while striving to meet utilization goals and business objectives.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers by providing detailed instruction on exercises and recovery techniques to facilitate independent healing.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive patient experience that enhances trust and satisfaction.
• Document patient progress clearly and efficiently in electronic health records to maintain compliance with clinic standards and provide accurate updates to referring physicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The selected candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other movement-related issues. Our diverse client base also includes pediatric and neurologic patients, affording our therapists the unique opportunity to apply their skills across various demographics. You will contribute significantly to enhancing their recovery journey, collaborating closely with them to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Florida State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for effectively conveying complex treatment information.
• Proficiency in technology, specifically in electronic health records and common office software applications.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
