The work setting at Radiant Life Counseling Center is fully remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to operate from the comfort of their own spaces. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in clinical psychotherapy sessions with a diverse array of clients.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes to contribute to cohesive care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an open dialogue, support, and skill-building strategies.

• Collaborate with educational institutions and other service providers as necessary to enhance holistic patient care.

• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance skills and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors serve a variety of individuals seeking mental health support, including students from local schools, adults dealing with chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and other psychological disorders. As a team member, you will apply your expertise to help clients navigate their challenges and work towards their mental health goals. Your work directly impacts the lives of individuals who are in need of guidance, support, and therapeutic intervention.

Qualifications\n

• A master's level degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• An active and valid license allowing unsupervised provision of mental health therapy services in New York State (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, PhD, etc.).

• Clean record without any disciplinary action reported by a licensing board in any jurisdiction.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adults and/or teenagers.

• Demonstrated proficiency and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other empirically supported therapeutic methods.

• Experience in conducting intake assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and executing treatment planning strategies.

• Strong written and communication skills for efficient session documentation and client report generation.
