Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. You will connect with clients through our telehealth platform, enabling flexible meeting times and reducing barriers to accessing mental health care. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are seamlessly integrated. Our practice values work-life balance, with designated working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Work closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that consider their individual goals, preferences, and circumstances.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing their conditions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.
\n
• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and update care plans as necessary to reflect changes and advancements.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure all aspects of a client’s mental health care are coordinated effectively.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and team meetings to refine treatment strategies and share best practices.

• Act as a mental health advocate, fostering understanding and acceptance of mood disorders both within the practice and the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders. Our diverse clientele comes from various backgrounds, and you will need to be culturally competent and adaptable in your approach to each individual's unique story.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and readiness to work collaboratively with prescribers.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful outcomes in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Outstanding communication skills that foster rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
