Accountant

The Encompass Group is partnering with an incredible firm in the staffing and recruiting sector to help them add a stellar Accountant to the team. Accountant: Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities. Prepare monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports. Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support audits, tax filings, and year-end close processes. Partner with leadership to improve financial processes and operational efficiency. Requirements: 5+ years of accounting experience with progressive responsibility. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close. Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Encompass Group
