Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead and manage supportive group therapy sessions that encourage young adults to share experiences, learn from each other, and build community.

• Individual Counseling: Provide compassionate one-on-one therapy, guiding clients through their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to create actionable coping strategies and personal improvement plans.

• Treatment Planning: Develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with clients, promoting engagement and autonomy in their healing journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. You will implement therapies that resonate with this demographic, fostering a safe space for healing and self-exploration.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Connecticut is mandatory.

• Experience working with clients in residential or outpatient mental health settings is essential.

• Collaborative and team-oriented, demonstrating a passion for facilitating positive change.

• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including motivation interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
