Reliant Orthopedic and Sports is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This full-time role will primarily focus on providing exceptional outpatient care aimed at helping patients enhance their mobility, reduce pain, and ultimately improve their quality of life. Work Environment

As an Onsite Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will be working in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. The clinic atmosphere encourages teamwork, open communication, and a passion for patient care, while maintaining a manageable caseload to ensure each patient receives the attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients by performing physical evaluations, gathering medical history, and identifying treatment goals.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Deliver hands-on and equipment-based physical therapy sessions that cater to the unique needs of orthopedic patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices for interventions that promote the patients' functional abilities and overall wellness.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress in accordance with organizational policies and clinical standards using EMR systems, particularly Web PT.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and wellness strategies to enhance long-term health.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, facilitating comprehensive patient care and adherence to legal standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for patients.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a positive outlook toward their rehabilitation journey.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current on evolving physical therapy practices.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on providing tailored solutions that address each patient's specific needs, whether they are athletes seeking to return to competitive levels, or individuals aiming to regain mobility for daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic care with a strong understanding of various manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software effectively, particularly Web PT.
• Strong clinical reasoning and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends and research in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing various therapy modalities to treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Experience in collaborative care pathways with healthcare professionals across disciplines.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
