Work Environment

This position is located within our outpatient clinic, where you will be immersed in a professional yet friendly atmosphere. The typical work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care by understanding patients' specific goals and tailoring treatment strategies accordingly.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, allowing you to give each patient the attention they deserve, fostering strong therapist-patient relationships.
• Employ your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver effective treatments that restore motion and enhance mobility.
• Utilize cost-effective, evidence-based treatment options that prioritize non-surgical interventions, reducing the reliance on medications.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans that involve various treatment modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Design fitness and wellness programs targeted to address individual patient needs, enhancing their overall well-being.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress through effective use of EMR software, specifically Web PT, to ensure accuracy in patient records.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, instilling confidence and encouraging adherence to prescribed exercise regimens.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all services rendered accurately to maintain high-quality care records and ensure the highest possible standard of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients, including athletes, post-surgical individuals, and those recovering from various orthopedic conditions. As a physical therapist at True Motion, you will encounter patients ranging from high-performance athletes seeking peak recovery to elderly patients working on improving their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey are mandatory.
• Must maintain a clean and impeccable record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional mastery of manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design successful exercise programs.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for meticulous documentation of patient care.
• Extensive knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and methodologies supported by clinical research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care, specifically in sports medicine, is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and outcomes.
• A history of successful patient interactions that highlight strong communication and motivational skills.

Compensation and Benefits
