Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist in Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. This full-time role will focus on providing specialized treatment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, aimed at optimizing patient recovery and improving their quality of life. Work Environment

You will work onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation center, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our dedicated staff includes occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation aides, all working together in a dynamic setting focused on patient-centered care. This role maintains a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, utilizing standardized tests and clinical observation.
• Formulating personalized treatment goals and detailed plans, ensuring they are aligned with the individualized needs of each patient.
• Providing effective and medically prescribed treatment protocols to outpatient clients, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as appropriate.
• Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols.
• Engaging in regular communication with patients regarding their treatment progression, altering goals and plans as necessary based on their feedback and clinical findings.
• Participating in team meetings and clinical committees aimed at enhancing the quality of service delivery within the center.
• Staying updated on best practices, current laws, and advancements in physical therapy to continuously improve care standards.
• Supervising and mentoring students during their clinical placements, sharing your expertise and passion for physical therapy education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily provide care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Physical Therapist position will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient assessment and treatment modalities. Experience with electronic health record systems and knowledge of evidence-based practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
