This role is onsite at our outpatient facility in Avenel, NJ, conveniently located to serve the local community effectively. Our flexible scheduling allows you to select the hours that fit best with your personal and professional life, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries in an outpatient setting.
• Establish customized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques including exercise, stretching, and manual therapies.
• Utilize advanced equipment and technology to enhance patient treatment and progress toward mobility restoration.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on patient response and evolving therapeutic goals.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on effective use of assistive devices and physical therapy exercises.
• Participate in continuous professional development by attending workshops, reviewing current literature, and contributing to professional networks.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teammates.
• Proficient in computer skills, including documentation and treatment planning software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while remaining highly flexible and adaptable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist is preferred.
• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with diverse patient populations, is highly valuable.
• Previous work in mentoring or training junior therapists is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
