Work Environment

Located onsite in East Brunswick, your work environment will be dynamic and fast-paced, focusing exclusively on outpatient rehabilitative care. Our team comprises experienced physical therapists, rehabilitation aides, and administrative professionals who all work together to provide exceptional services. The facility operates Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring ample time for patient treatment and administrative duties without compromising work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessments for each patient to identify their specific rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring high-quality, personalized attention that fosters trust and rapport.
• Conduct regular progress evaluations, adjusting treatment strategies based on patient response and recovery milestones.
• Use evidence-based practices to educate patients on their conditions, empowering them to engage in their recovery actively.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in our electronic medical records system (EMR), specifically using WebPT, to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques through continuous education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Aligncare Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries like joint replacements, sports injuries, and trauma. You will also provide care to patients with chronic pain conditions and associated mobility challenges. Understanding their individual history and lifestyle will be critical in delivering safe and effective rehabilitative services.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with a commitment to ethical practice and compliance.
• A proven track record of implementing effective treatment programs and familiarity with a variety of manual therapy techniques.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, especially WebPT, for seamless documentation and communication.
• A strong foundation in current physical therapy practices based on the latest research and clinical guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Expertise in creating and monitoring customized exercise programs that cater to various levels of mobility and strength.

Compensation and Benefits

Aligncare Physical Therapy offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
