Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Nealy Fitness Rehab Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing and implementing physical therapy treatment plans designed to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore function in accordance with the patient's unique goals and the physician's directives.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional levels using evidence-based diagnostic and prognostic techniques relevant to muscle, joint, and nerve capabilities.
• Overseeing and mentoring physical therapy assistants to ensure effective treatment delivery and compliance with established plans of care.
• Assessing patient homes for rehabilitation feasibility and making recommendations for modifications within the home environment to enhance patient independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, physical modalities, and treatments, including manual therapy techniques, to promote recovery.
• Participating in the development, review, and adaptation of individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including patient evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with OASIS requirements.
• Engaging with patients and families through education concerning ongoing therapy processes, therapeutic devices, and home exercise programs.

Compensation and Benefits
