Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Location: Anaheim, CA Salary: $80,000-100,000 + Overtime (Non-exempt) Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday About the Role We are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Anaheim, CA. This position will play an important role in managing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes while working closely with the Controller. Key Responsibilities Assist the Controller in ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of financial statements Manage general ledger activities, including monthly journal entries, accruals, supporting schedules, and account reconciliations Perform cash management activities and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Assist with payroll-related duties and processes Research and resolve accounting issues through analytical problem-solving and technical accounting research Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to internal control requirements Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiencies Participate in ERP/accounting system enhancements and automation initiatives Assist with financial analysis and other accounting projects as needed Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff Take on additional projects and responsibilities as delegated by management Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll Experience with Sage Intacct required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas Strong technical accounting knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration with an accounting concentration, or equivalent relevant experience Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and efficient Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Demonstrated interest in process improvement and developing accounting systems and controls Leadership mindset with the ability and desire to mentor junior staff Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
