Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with our organization, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of clients entering the detox center, ensuring accurate diagnoses and understanding of their individual needs.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to assist clients in navigating their recovery journeys.

• Documenting client progress through meticulous clinical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations, thus ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care, addressing both mental health and substance use issues effectively.

• Participating in bi-weekly case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at maintaining high-quality care standards.

• Providing ongoing education and emotional support to clients and their families about mental health and addiction treatment options, as well as linking them to community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification from substances, which can range from alcohol to prescription medications. Many clients may also have co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, or trauma, requiring an integrated approach to treatment. Your capacity to provide empathetic, non-judgmental support will be key to helping clients feel safe and understood during transformative time in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n
