What You'll Do:

• Safely and accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, demonstrating proficiency in venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures, ensuring sample integrity and correct labeling.
• Create a welcoming and trusting environment for patients by explaining procedures clearly and maintaining a professional, empathetic demeanor.
• Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and uphold confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of collections and patient interactions, supporting seamless laboratory operations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery, demonstrating leadership behaviors and process excellence.
• Participate in rotating Saturday shifts, with flexibility for on-call, holiday, and overtime hours as needed.

What You Bring:

• Proven proficiency in phlebotomy, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to put patients at ease and communicate effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure specimen accuracy and proper documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in keyboarding and data entry to support efficient record-keeping and specimen processing.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred, especially for candidates in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Minimum of six months of hands-on phlebotomy experience is required; one year or more is highly preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic backgrounds.
• Additional experience in customer service within retail or service environments.

• Physical stamina to perform blood draws and stand for extended periods.
