Description: This is a cross-posting position. Booking and additional requests for time off cannot be worked onsite. Any call-offs or additional requests for time off may result in a cancellation. There is no block scheduling. The unit will consider first-time travelers. Locals are accepted with a rate difference. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:3-5, with approximately 250 visits per day. There are 101 beds in the emergency room. The unit will only accept 13-week assignments or longer. 36 to 48 hours of work can be offered. Floating between departments is required, based on need. There is a minimum weekend requirement of four weekend days per six-week period. The unit serves as a regional referral and tertiary care center for diverse populations. Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Candidates must have a teamwork approach and adhere to behavioral expectations in all interactions. Call-off policies are strictly enforced. Candidates must be open to floating within the facility as needed. References can be pending upon submission. Pre-start modules will not be billable and should be completed before starting. All testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing the contract. This position requires working two of three major holidays. No additional requests for time off will be accepted after signing.
