Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessment findings, collaborating closely with clients to establish realistic recovery goals.

• Utilize proven therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to deliver high-quality treatment for eating disorders.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that challenge clients' distorted perceptions about food, body image, and self-worth, fostering a supportive healing environment.

• Assist clients in acquiring effective coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills to combat disordered eating behaviors, enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.
