Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs and goals.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and clinical assessments, in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Work proactively with a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated mental health services.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing appropriate assessment tools to address urgent emotional and behavioral challenges faced by clients.

• Engage and consult with clients’ families and support systems, fostering a holistic approach to treatment that incorporates their insights and needs into the discharge planning process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele seeking outpatient mental health support. This may include individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is essential.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting is required, demonstrating a strong grasp of therapeutic principles and practices.

• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in MS Office and electronic medical record systems, with strong attention to detail in documentation.

• Ability to work independently, displaying a self-directed and organized approach to managing client caseloads and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), or group therapy facilitation will be considered favorably. Familiarity with best practices in telehealth and remote counseling will also enhance your ability to connect with clients effectively.
