Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and current mental health status, ensuring appropriate and effective treatment plans.

• Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process their trauma, navigate coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care, ensuring comprehensive support for all aspects of the patient’s mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention and support in trauma-associated emergencies, demonstrating calmness and presence in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, enhancing their understanding and resilience against future challenges.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant life traumas, including survivors of physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
