About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to the Co-Presidents, with a primary focus on delivering accurate, timely, and insightful consolidated financial reporting. This role requires a leader with a strong background in the construction industry, particularly in job costing and recovery principles. The VP of Finance will be responsible for overseeing treasury and cash management, internal financial processes, and enterprise tax preparation. They will also be tasked with advising subsidiary finance leaders on best practices in accounting, FP&A, controls, and operational finance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA strongly preferred, and at least 10-15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience. Key responsibilities for the VP of Finance include leading the preparation of financial statements, maintaining a consistent reporting framework, and presenting financial results to the Board. The role also involves overseeing treasury operations, managing banking relationships, and optimizing the capital structure across the portfolio. The VP of Finance will be expected to lead the budgeting and forecasting process, establish financial policies and controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role includes supporting strategic projects, M&A activities, and mentoring finance talent across the organization. The candidate should have a proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and exceptional communication abilities.
