Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive individual and family assessments to understand the unique needs of each client. These assessments inform tailored treatment plans and ongoing session frameworks.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring participants engage in constructive dialogue while following a structured agenda aimed at emotional and psychological healing.

• Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, fostering an environment of trust and respect while ensuring professional boundaries are upheld.

• Demonstrate cultural competence by adapting therapeutic approaches to align with the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients, including those with varying DSM diagnoses.

• Utilize psychosocial assessments to develop and implement effective treatment plans that address individual client goals while fostering their emotional well-being.

• Thoroughly document treatment sessions, including individual and group notes, treatment plans, and updates, to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

• Complete daily charge sheets to track patient sessions attended and ensure accurate billing and administrative records.

• Actively participate in weekly treatment planning sessions with multidisciplinary teams, providing insights and progress reports to guide collaborative patient care.

• Assist in the development of Discharge Aftercare Plans, ensuring continuity of care and resources are available post-therapy.
\n
• Stay current on psychological trends and clinical best practices through participation in relevant workshops, seminars, and professional networks to support ongoing professional development.

• Provide competent care to specific age groups within the population, accommodating the unique physical, psychological, and cultural needs of children, transitional age youth, middle-aged adults, and senior clients.

You will serve a diverse clientele at the clinic ranging from children to elderly adults, each presenting unique mental health challenges and backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A valid, unrestricted license in the State of Florida as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is required.
