Description What You Will Be Doing

• Carry out both routine and specialized laboratory testingranging from chemistry and hematology to immunologyfollowing established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for reliability, manage troubleshooting of anomalies, and ensure lab instruments are well-maintained and calibrated.
• Assist with sample collection and preparation as required.
• Carefully document all protocols, educate new employees or interns, and help maintain stringent quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, abiding by regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a corresponding allied health degree plus completion of ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year from the date of hire.
• Maintain up-to-date certification while employed.
