Physician - Department of Otolaryngology - Laryngologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

Position Overview

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Laryngologist to join a nationally recognized academic health system. The role is within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on patient care, education, and research, and involves advanced care for voice, airway, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients with voice, airway, swallowing, and dysphagia disorders.
• Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows.
• Conduct scholarly activities, including research and publication.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the Division of Laryngology.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD).
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
• Completion of an American Laryngological Association‑recognized fellowship in Laryngology.
• Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOHNS).
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Demonstrated expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of laryngeal, swallowing, airway, and voice disorders.
• Commitment to academic medicine, patient care excellence, teaching, and scholarly activity.
• Qualify for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level; academic rank and salary will be commensurate with prior training and experience.
