Travel - temporary assignment in an inpatient behavioral health setting serving patients age 18 and older. CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills (APS) is required for this role. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,959–$2,002 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 nights, 1830-0700, includes every other weekend and holidays Start date: 06/22/2026 Setting: Inpatient behavioral health services (adolescent to adult population) Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care for assigned patients on the inpatient behavioral health unit, following the plan of care and organizational policies. Assess patient needs, document findings, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to establish and revise outcomes. Administer and document medications per policy, monitor responses, and ensure accurate records. Coordinate nursing assignments, supervise care activities, and direct other team members according to skill level and patient needs. Respond to emergencies, provide emergency care as needed, and maintain a safe environment with appropriate risk precautions. Participate in group therapies and multidisciplinary treatment planning, adapting interventions to age-specific needs (18+), and promote patient rights and confidentiality. Requirements Active Illinois Registered Nurse license; BSN preferred or equivalent years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BLS certification required. CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills (APS) required. Ability to work with patients aged 18 and older in an inpatient behavioral health setting; ability to work night shifts and a 3x12 schedule; strong clinical and communication skills.
