Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment is essential.
• Maintain and update certification throughout your tenure.
